I love this, it's just so nice to see a mother love their child so genuinely. For me, it was the opposite, I never knew my mother growing up, and just seeing Inko talking and smiling at her son even whilst he's chosen a dark path... it's beautiful. Also, I like how you characterise Deku here. He's not emotionless, but rather trying to seem that way because, the moment he lets his guard down, he knows he's gonna cry up a waterfall. He's just fifteen years old... he doesn't deserve to have his actions follow him for the rest of his life.
